Manuel Sahagun

Manuel Sahagun is considered one of the exciting new talents in the house music scene. He started in 1998 experimenting with his computer and exploring DJing as a hobby, playing around with sounds that went from house to techno. Influenced by artists like DJ Dan, Derrick Carter and DJ Sneak, he acquired a taste for funky and deep house. Starting professionally in 2001, Manuel positioned himself quickly as a house music reference among Argentinean DJs with his residences at Superclub (now Crobar) and Buenos Aires’ own Pachá. There he played sets alongside top DJs like Chemical Brothers, Terry Lee Brown Jr., Justin Robertson, Hipp-E, etc.

Besides his residencies at Pacha and Superclub, Manuel has played in clubs and big festivals like Personal Fest that had an attendance of 25,000 and international acts such as Pet Shop Boys, Primal Scream, Blondie, P.J. Harvey, Morrisey; and at Festival BUE where 10,000 gathered to see Massive Attack, FC Kahuna and others. Another highlight has also been his participation in the famous Creamfields Buenos Aires (done uninterrupted for the past 8 years).
